- 1.053 OG - 1.009 FG
- 5.8% ABV
- 35% Pilsner - 55% Malted Wheat
- 13 IBU - Hallertauer Hops
- Yeast - WLP300 @ 62F
I decided to brew this as a quick turn-around beer and didn't expect much out of it, was I surprised. This one has a lot of character. A hint of banana and clove with a light but substantial body.
Named after my friend Matt Polus, who enjoys wheat beer.
Put into keg on 6/21/11. Did not do a secondary with this one.
