Horse Heaven Hills Brewery - Prosser Wa

Spent the day in Prosser Washington. I was able to do something I have been meaning to do for months, and that is to stop by Horse Heaven Hills Brewery. I was really impressed with the quality of beer.

My wife and I had three 4-beer samplers between the two of us, our daughter had Goldfish (yes it is a family friendly environment, thanks Dave and Gary!). I was able to try 8 of the 10 beers they had available.

My 2 favorite brews of the day were:
An American style Wheat, Horse Heaven Hills Wheat that had just gone to the tap. There was great flavor depth and complexity.

The Dark Cherry Stout was so delicious (Served on Nitro) we bought a growler and had it filled. This is a great stout to begin with, but the hint of cherry, which is not at all overpowering, really brings out the chocolate and other 'stout' characteristics that I sometimes miss.
